Random thoughts about exhibiting and more . . .

Madewell at University Village, almost as good as real daffodils

After a great weekend in Portland with family and friends, I'm back in the studio cleaning up after my creative whirlwind due to the Buckman School sale. Had to visit the Genius Bar at Apple yesterday and spied this delightful window display.

Receiving so many positive comments about my work was ego-boosting for sure. However, more sales would have been even better. You never know how a show will turn out . . . there are so many variables: the weather, location, time of year, etc . . .

I met some wonderful artists and viewed inspiring work in several mediums. Also came home with three pieces: one purchased, two traded. What could be better?
It's on to the next project – I'll be teaching "Manilla Folder Magic" April 30 at Letters of Joy/Edmonds Community College. Would love to have you in my class!

looking forward to real geraniums
