Stitches and Folds - in tomorrow's mail!

cover

Whew!!! Nothing like barely squeaking in under the wire is there? Just finished my 2012 Sketchbook Project journal this afternoon. The postmark deadline is January 31 to have my book included in this year's world-wide tour. My theme (from their list) is Stitches and Folds. Creating this book was a blast (when I finally stopped procrastinating).

front and back covers - have to keep my name and bar code visible
the hands are mine - letterpress - part of a promo piece about palm reading

The book, provided by the project, is 5 x 7 inches. The cover is light-brown tag board and the white inner pages are of medium weight (I'd prefer a heavier stock, but these are better than last year's). There are 13 double-page spreads, plus the first and last page. I've sewn stitched, folded, collaged and colored every single flat surface. I'm a gal who believes in the rules of maximum coverage!

I'll post several pages each day for your viewing pleasure. :)
